Black & White | Blog Circle | Personal Project

I missed a few months of this blog circle due to vacation and just being super busy, but I am back at it. It is a great way to re-energize, be inspired, and try new things. I am in a group with very talented ladies, each with their own unique perspectives on a different topic each month. This months topic is Black & White.

A few month ago I was pushing myself to do more, do better, and participated in a photography class. Some of these I have shared before. I do love a good black and white image. I just love the tones and textures and the mood you can create. It was really hard for me to narrow it down to these. Most of these are of my boys…don’t they look so quiet and sweet. Ha! Luckily I was able to snag a few beauties to step in for me too.

Thanks for looking! And please follow the blog circle to Jessica Cadis Photography for more black and white eye candy!

  • Love these, Lisa! The one of the boy (is it your son?) who is laying down with his arms up by his head, wow that one really caught my eye right away! Your B/W conversions are beautiful!ReplyCancel

  • Lovely, as always, Lisa! I’m loving the doorway photo – it really frames your son well…and those leading lines! Great shot.ReplyCancel

It is impossible to pick one favorite. They are all so beautiful. If I had to pick just one it would be Jack, with the hat on leaning against the wall with one hand sort of in his pocket. That is such a handsome kid….I said years ago that someday I want him to meet my granddaughter, Abby, who is just beautiful and a very soulful, smart and funny personality. If you were closer I would love to have you photograph all of my granddaughters. You, and your work, are amazing as always.ReplyCancel
